Rice Breadmaker Questions

Rice Breadmaker
SIMPLE recipe for gluten free bread?

i want to make some gluten free bread. these are the ingredients i have in the house for the flour.
white rice flour
tapioca flour
potato starch
corn starch
corn meal
dry yeast.

i do NOT have access right now to xanthan gum, powdered milk,(in fact i’m allergic to milk) egg substitue or any other obscure ingredient.
every recipe i have looked up contains very convoluted instructions always including some ingredient for the flour that i don’t have.
can someone give me a recipe using the ingredients i have above with common household ingredients like eggs, shortening, ect? Please??

i also have no breadmaker. this will be done in a regular oven

Here’s one for a quick bread

1 1/2 cups white rice flour
1/2 cup tapioca flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
Combine the rice flour, tapioca flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg and buttermilk . Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet. Stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Pour into the cake pan.
Bake for 65 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack, for 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Wrap bread in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and let stand overnight for the best flavor.

Edit:
Sorry I just saw that you’re allergic to milk so I’m assuming you can’t use buttermilk either. Try allrecipes.com. they’re a great source for recipes.

Shopping For Breadmakers For Quick Homemade Wholesome Baking

A bread maker is really a home appliance that’s totally changed the operation of making loaves of bread. First manufactured in 1986 in Japan, breadmaker ever since then moved its way to homes in the united states and United Kingdom. Using a breadmaker, automatic baking has really become possible and more convenient.

Much like ordinary baking, ingredients must first be measured based on the recipe. The mixture will be poured in to the bread pan which is positioned in the machine. The breadmaker might take some hours to bake the bread beginning with turning the mixture into dough and eventually baking it. This process of making dough is assisted by using a built-in paddle. Once the baking is done and it has been allowed to cool down, the bread will be freed from the bread pan. The paddle in the bottom of your loaf needs to be removed from its place.

Breadmaker breads tend to be simpler to get spoiled as compared with the commercial breads because of the absence of additives and preservatives. Nevertheless, it’s possible that sourdough starter can be put into the ingredients to prolong the shelf life of your breads.

Breadmakers include built-in timers that may be set for easier baking. Other machines can be programmed to only prepare the dough rather than to bake the bread later, in cases like this the dough is baked within an oven. Breadmakers have other uses too. They could be set to produce jams, pizza bases, wheat-free loaf, cakes, and pasta plus in some instances, mochi- a Japanese rice bread.

However, like with normal baking there may arise several complications regarding the quality of the bread produced. These can be caused by the operation of baking or the quality of breadmaker itself. You may well get a doughy loaf, this problem basically concerns the temperature in the breadmaker. The built-in thermometer must read 190 F. When the baking is finished and the loaf is still doughy, you could decide to continue baking it in a conventional oven or wait till the breadmaker cools down and start the whole process over.

A few other troubles include small bread owing to the insufficient water combined with the dough. The issue begins with the dissolving of the yeast. If too little liquid is used, the yeast will not be stimulated to produce the required carbon dioxide, which is instrumental for making the dough rise. Without this, the loaf could become dense and will be smaller.
