Will a recipe for a 900g loaf work in a 750g breadmaker?
Since 750g is roughly 80% of 900g I could use 80% of all quantities but it is a bit awkward to work it out with the recipe using cup measurements eg 80% of half a cup etc.
What will be the consequences of squeezing in the extra 150g?
Just don’t put in the extra 150g. Bake it separately in a dish, or save it and add it to 1/2 or 3/4 recipe next week.
If you squeeze it into the breadmaker, it will expand. I’m afraid you could break the breadmaker.
How about changing your recipe into metric someday when you have the time?
