where can I get fresh yeast & how do I make an adjustment from dry to fresh in the recipe. canadian outlets if you know.
i use dry yeast but it just doesn’t smell or taste like fresh bread from scratch, thot the live yeast would be better
Buy dry yeast in the jar, it keeps longer. You can buy it at any grocery store and there is a special one just for bread machines. I use the dough setting to make hamburger buns and cinnamon buns. Very handy as I have trouble kneading dough by hand for 10 minutes now.
