What do you do if your bread machine doesn’t have a SWEET setting?
I have a Breadman bread machine. It’s a horizontal machine with two mixing paddles. I see all sorts of recipes that say to put the machine on the SWEET setting, but I don’t have that setting. I have several other settings, but not a SWEET setting. What other setting is comparable to the SWEET setting?
It’s a TR810 model. Like I said, it has several cycles, but the one I am seeing on a lot of bread machine recipes is Sweet cycle, in which my machine does not have. Which cycle is most comparable to a sweet cycle in times and process?
I do have 3 crust settings too in which I figured I would be using the light setting for that.
I tried looking up information about your breadmachine, but without knowing the model number I was at a loss. My only suggestion would be to use the “light crust” setting — if you have it.
EDIT: okay — on page 15 of your user manual, it explains how to make sweet breads. According to the manual, you can choose Batter Breads, Fruit and nut, but with this setting you cannot choose your crust control. Hope this helps — BTW, if you don’t have a manual, you can download one at:
